WISY AG
About
Founded in 1989 by Norbert Winkler and headquartered in Kefenrod-Hitzkirchen, Germany, WISY AG manufactures rainwater harvesting and filtration systems distributed across more than 40 countries. The company's core innovation is its vertical stainless-steel mesh filtration technology, which uses adhesion to separate clean water from debris while remaining self-cleaning—dirt particles flush past the mesh rather than accumulating, requiring inspection only twice yearly. WISY's four-stage purification system combines rainwater filters (Filter Collector FS, Vortex Fine Filter WFF 150 and WFF 300, Standpipe Filter Collector STFS, Cistern Filter LineAr 100) with calmed inlets that prevent sediment disturbance, floating suction filters that draw from the cleanest water layer, and overflow siphons with skim effect and vermin guards. The pump line includes the AspriPlus self-priming suction pump and Multigo submersible pressure pump, both managed by the Zeta 02 controller with standby consumption below 0.2W. Complete rainwater utilization units—Sigma, Multimat, Optima, Optima Plus, and Maxima—integrate filtration, pumping, mains-water backup, and buffer storage ranging from household to multi-unit residential scales. Additional products include Sigura break tanks, flat cisterns from 800 to 5,000 liters, and EU-compliant mains water top-up systems. Notable installations include the Maracanã Stadium and Google headquarters.
Key Products
Downpipe rainwater filter that separates rainwater from debris directly in the downpipe using a stainless steel mesh with self-cleaning action.
Cistern-installed vortex filter with stainless steel insert for horizontal pipe installation inside buildings or underground, filtering particles above 0.28mm.
Rainwater filter designed for standpipe configurations in civil engineering and architectural applications.
Manhole-installed rainwater filter for underground cisterns providing fine filtration of incoming rainwater.
Floats 10-20cm below the water surface to draw water from the cleanest zone in the cistern.
Self-priming suction and pressure pump for installation in rainwater units, capable of drawing water from cisterns up to 12m away.
Submersible pump located inside the cistern providing pressure for rainwater delivery with 1-inch nozzle and stand.
Submersible pump for cisterns providing reliable rainwater feed to household systems.
Automatic pump controller monitoring pressure and flow with under 0.2W standby consumption, activating pumps on demand.
