About the Water Equipment Registry

The Water Equipment Registry (WER) is a comprehensive, independently maintained directory of water and wastewater treatment equipment manufacturers serving the North American municipal and industrial markets. The registry catalogs more than 3,000 companies across hundreds of equipment categories — from headworks screening and grit removal through biological treatment, disinfection, solids handling, and instrumentation.

WER was built to solve a problem every consulting engineer, operator, and owner knows well: finding the right equipment manufacturer takes too long. Product knowledge is scattered across rep line cards, conference booths, and decades-old bookmarks. WER organizes it the way engineers actually think — by treatment process. Start from a process flow diagram, drill into the unit process you're designing or troubleshooting, and see every manufacturer that builds for it.

The registry is owned and operated by Winschel Environmental, LLC, a manufacturers representative firm founded in 2006 and led by a licensed professional engineer with decades of experience in the design, operation, and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities. Listings in the registry are compiled from public sources and verified where possible; inclusion is free and does not constitute an endorsement.
