Walker Process Equipment, based in Aurora, Illinois, has manufactured engineered wastewater treatment equipment since 1946 and is now a division of McNish Corporation, with over 10,000 equipment installations. All key components are produced at their Aurora facility. The company's clarifier line includes bridge-supported circular collectors (Type C and Type CP for 10-50 ft diameter tanks), pier-supported collectors (Type RS for 30+ ft diameter), rectangular collectors up to 30 ft wide and 250 ft long, segmented plow flights, and spiral rakes. Flocculating clarifiers include the MC ClariFlow and Type UC designs, with the HeliThickener for combined clarification and thickening. Digester products span fixed, floating, and GasHolder covers; UniMix paddle flocculators; InstoMix flash mixers; Axial-Flow and GasLifter digester mixers; and HeatX heat exchangers and boilers. Grit removal equipment includes Rolling Grit systems rated to 21 MGD, GritWashers (GW100 through GW350, up to 400 GPM), and HydroSeparators (1-25 MGD). Biological treatment features the EnviroDisc RBC with 30-inch diameter shafts and up to 150,000 sq ft of media area, plus Type M and MT Rotary Distributors for trickling filters up to 250 ft diameter and 25,000 GPM. Scum and grease systems include the HeliSkim and RotoDip Skimmer. Many installations have operated for 40-50 years of continuous service.
