URACA GmbH & Co. KG is an independent family-owned business founded in 1893 in Bad Urach in Germany's Swabian Alb region, employing approximately 330 people. With over 130 years of continuous operation and a high degree of vertical integration, URACA is one of the pioneering manufacturers of motorized high-pressure plunger pumps worldwide, producing all core components in-house under its Made in Germany hallmark. The pump range spans triplex plunger models from the compact P3-08 through P3-45 plus the KD718, KD724, and KD725 variants, quadruplex models P4-20, P4-45, and P4-70 (including the P4-20 for drinking water supply), the quintuplex P5-70 for high-flow applications, and the UD200 pressure intensifier for ultra-high-pressure demands. For sewer and pipe cleaning at 100–250 bar, URACA pumps are engineered to handle recycled water containing suspended solids and corrosive content via wear-resistant mushroom valves. The company also manufactures the TWK series of tank cleaning heads including ATEX-certified models for explosive atmospheres, the RWD 500 rotating cleaning nozzle, DFK 55/61/90 pipe cleaning nozzles, SP250 and SP250-Vario spray guns, DFM105–400 rotary transmission units, and Jet Power 300 complete pump units in mobile trailer-mounted configurations. A comprehensive valve lineup includes foot valves (FV500/800/1200), safety valves (SVL, VSV), pneumatic valves (PUSV, PÜV), and diaphragm-actuated control valves (MSUV, MSSV). URACA operates a Technical Center for trial cleaning and demonstrations, and supplies CCS carbon capture injection pump systems for international energy projects.
