Uniones Arpol, S.A., established in 1976 and headquartered in Premià de Dalt, Barcelona, Spain, designs and manufactures flexible couplings and repair systems for pipeline connection and rehabilitation across water, industrial, and infrastructure applications. The company's product line spans six core coupling families. The Instal series provides flexible couplings for same-diameter pipe connections in four material grades — anticorrosion-coated carbon steel with Geomet-coated hardware, AISI 304L stainless with Geomet or AISI 304 bolts, and AISI 316L stainless with AISI 316 hardware — paired with gasket options including EPDM (water and air to 100°C), Nitrile (fuel and gas to 80°C), EPDM Potable (drinking water certified, −55°C to 200°C), and Silicone (hot air and steam to 240°C). The Rep-C series is a single-lock flexible coupling for pipe repair. The Fix-Pro series provides rigid couplings with axial restraint. The Trans series connects pipes of different outside diameters using a one-ring axial restraint system. The Neo2 series represents Arpol's latest engineering: PN16-rated flexible couplings from DN40 to DN400 (22 references), featuring 200 mm-wide AISI 304L casings with progressive sealing EPDM gaskets approved for drinking water, allowing angular deflection to 6° and diameter differences up to 2 mm. The Repair Clamp series rounds out the offering for localized pipe damage. All products employ an active sealing system and are compatible with steel, cast and ductile iron, asbestos cement, concrete, GRP, PE, and PVC pipe materials.
