Toray Membrane USA, a subsidiary of Toray Industries (which began membrane development in 1968), produces a comprehensive range of polyamide composite and PVDF membrane technologies for water treatment and separation applications. The RO product line spans brackish water models (TM700D, TMG, TMHA, TBW-HR, TBW-XHR, SU series), seawater models (TM800M, TM800V, TSW-LE, TM800K), low-fouling models (TMLD, TLF-DG, TLF-HD, TLF-ULD), and zero/minimal liquid discharge models (TZD series), with rejection ratings up to 99.86% and element sizes from 4 to 8 inches. Ultrafiltration modules include pressurized hollow-fiber PVDF elements (HFUG-2020AN, HFU-2020AN, F-HFUG-2020AN with 0.005–0.01 μm pore sizes) and submerged configurations (HSU-1515), along with pre-integrated TUF Rack systems. The MBR line features PVDF flat-sheet membranes (0.08 μm) in the NHPA and NHP210 series with coarse and fine bubble diffuser configurations. Additional offerings include CSM nanofiltration and RO elements, specialty and dairy membranes, and ROPUR RPI antiscalants. Toray provides AquaGRID RO projection software and operates across approximately 20 countries with R&D laboratories and technical support centers.
