TopolWater s.r.o. is a family-owned Czech manufacturer of wastewater treatment plants, established as an engineering office in 1990 by Ing. Jan Topol and incorporated in 2000. Headquartered in Čáslav with approximately 80 employees, the company holds 16 international patents and has installed over 500 treatment plants across 24 countries. The domestic TOPAS line covers 5 to 800 PE in two configurations: the R-BASIC with float switch control and the S model featuring the TOM control unit with WiFi and smartphone monitoring. Both employ SBR technology with patented decanters and offer optional sand filters, UV disinfection, chemical dosing, and GSM monitoring. Municipal applications from 800 to 50,000 PE are served by the MONOBLOK-T and FLEXIDIBLOK systems, the latter using dual SBR reactors for operational redundancy where one reactor maintains treatment if the other fails. Industrial solutions address food processing, slaughterhouse, dairy, and brewery wastewater through custom SBR configurations with dissolved air flotation, chemical adjustment, and tertiary filtration. TopolWater's patented steel-plastic composite tank construction combines profiled galvanized steel sheets with thermoplastics, eliminating concrete reinforcement requirements even below groundwater level. All systems maintain 97% treatment efficiency after extended no-load periods and offer three-level remote monitoring. The company has received more than 12 international awards including Grand Prix at For Arch 2018 and 2022.
