STRATE Technologie fur Abwasser GmbH, now operating as the Waste Water business unit of the Duker group from its headquarters in Sarstedt, Germany, has delivered municipal and industrial wastewater technology for over 75 years. STRATE's product portfolio covers three categories within wastewater conveyance: pumping station systems, shafts and access structures, and valve technology. The pumping station line includes prefabricated sewage lifting systems (Abwasserhebeanlagen) designed for residential and municipal gravity-deficient drainage, complemented by inspection shafts (Schachte) for underground access and monitoring. On the valve side, STRATE manufactures non-return valves (Ruckschlagklappen) that prevent backflow in pressure mains and gravity sewers, automatic aeration and de-aeration valves (Be- und Entluftungsventile) that protect force mains from air locks and vacuum damage, and compressed-air valves for pneumatic wastewater applications. As part of Duker, STRATE's wastewater products are complemented by three sister business units: Flow Control, offering gate valves, butterfly valves, hydrants, backflow preventers, control valves, and ring piston valves for water supply; Drainage, producing SML cast-iron pipe systems with integrated fire protection for building drainage; and Third-Party Production, manufacturing custom cast components in various materials. Duker provides specification texts, CAD and BIM product data for digital planning, and the DUKADEMY training program for engineers and installers, while backing Flow Control and Drainage products with a 10-year guarantee.
