About

Founded in 1952 when Clarence Simmons opened a machine shop in Sundown, West Texas, SIMFLO has grown into one of the last privately held vertical turbine pump manufacturers in the United States. The company launched its own vertical turbine pump line in 1956 and today produces over 75 distinct pump models alongside replacement parts and accessories. SIMFLO's product portfolio includes lineshaft pumps in deep-set and short-coupled configurations, 4-inch well pumps, canned booster pumps, mixed and axial flow pumps, and submersible pumps. The company also manufactures bowl assemblies, column assemblies, and head assemblies, plus components such as coatings, fabrications, lineshaft parts, motors, and submersible parts. All production is governed by SIMFLO's proprietary SIMQUAL seven-step quality assurance process, which covers the supply chain from raw material through final testing. Customers can configure pumps using the SIMSELECTOR tool hosted on the PUMP-FLO platform. SIMFLO operates its own foundries with in-house manufacturing and machining capabilities, serving municipal water supply, industrial process, agricultural irrigation, and commercial building markets. The company is led by CEO Troy Pickering and maintains its headquarters in the United States.
