Sherwin-Williams
About
Sherwin-Williams, through its Protective and Marine division, manufactures a comprehensive line of coatings and linings for water and wastewater infrastructure. The SherPlate 600 phenalkamide epoxy lining delivers the longest expected service life among comparable epoxy linings, certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and 600 and compliant with AWWA C210 and AWWA D102 coating systems 1, 2, 5, and 6 for steel and concrete substrates in potable water service. SherPlate PW is a two-component, edge-retentive, ultra-high solids epoxy amine coating designed for rapid return to service in potable water tanks and piping, meeting AWWA D102 and C210 standards. For severe wastewater environments, Dura-Plate 6000 is a 100-percent solids, high-build reinforced epoxy lining that offers 10-hour return-to-service capability, extremely low permeability, and chemical resistance for sewer collection systems and treatment plant headspaces. Dura-Plate 6100, also 100-percent solids, targets manholes, wet wells, lift stations, influent channels, and digesters with structural enhancement and fast project completion. The broader portfolio includes Macropoxy epoxy mastics, Acrolon polyurethane finishes, FIRETEX intumescent fireproofing, Heat-Flex insulation coatings, and Sher-Loxane polysiloxane topcoats. Application segments cover water storage, wastewater treatment, transmission pipe lining to AWWA C210 and C222, industrial OEM, and sewer collection system protection against hydrogen sulfide and microbial corrosion.
