Sensorex Inc., founded in 1972 and headquartered in Garden Grove, California, is a manufacturer of electrochemical and optical measurement sensors and instrumentation for water quality monitoring. A subsidiary of Halma plc, the company designs and produces pH, ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, free chlorine, and chlorine dioxide sensors serving municipal and industrial water treatment, environmental monitoring, laboratory, pool and spa, agriculture, food and beverage, and aquaculture markets. Sensorex's product portfolio spans online process sensors, smart sensors with digital communication, wireless and IoT-enabled devices, laboratory sensors, controllers and transmitters, benchtop meters, and calibration standards. Their modular S8000 platform allows tool-free sensor swaps, reducing maintenance downtime. The S8500 smart modular pH sensor features MODBUS 485 communication and is designed for submersion or inline installation. The CS8400 smart modular conductivity sensor, DO6400 dissolved oxygen sensor with optional MODBUS/RS485, and FCL amperometric free chlorine sensor round out the core process line. Their Lumin-S optical dissolved oxygen sensors (ODO8000/ODO9000) eliminate membranes and electrolyte, requiring only cap replacement every one to two years. All sensors communicate via 4-20 mA or MODBUS/RS485 protocols, and the SSRE Smart Sensor Remote Electronics module converts any Sensorex sensor to smart output with DIN rail or UL enclosure mounting.
