Savino Barbera SRL, founded in 1947 in Brandizzo near Turin, Italy, is a third-generation family manufacturer that pioneered the use of thermoplastics in pump construction, transitioning exclusively to plastic pump manufacturing in 1963 after recognizing the corrosion limitations of metal. Operating under a "Plastic, Not Metal" philosophy, every product features wetted components made entirely from corrosion-resistant thermoplastics including PP, PVC, PVDF, ECTFE, and PE-HD, with no metal parts contacting the pumped liquid. The vertical centrifugal pump range includes models AS, GP, BS, and GA with custom lengths up to 3,000 mm, delivering flows to 200 m3/h and heads to 55 m. Horizontal pumps comprise the OMA, OP, and OA mechanically sealed models and the PA self-priming pump. Sealless magnetic-drive pumps in the MD and BM series handle clean corrosive fluids up to 135 m3/h and 48 m head, available in PP, PVDF, AISI 316, and Hastelloy. The BX double-diaphragm pneumatic pump comes in both plastic and metal configurations. Industrial mixers span models AN through AF plus IBC and SM stations, with lengths reaching 3,500 mm. Additional products include FUS/TR drum and container pumps, PFT31 descaling pumps, and corrosion-resistant polymer-coated nuts and bolts.
