RWI Enhanced Evaporation
About
RWI Enhanced Evaporation, a division of Resource West, Inc., is a Grand Junction, Colorado-based manufacturer of industrial mechanical evaporators for wastewater volume reduction. Founded in 2006 by CEO Jack Hays to address rising disposal costs, the company also maintains a full-time office in Midland, Texas opened in September 2021. RWI's 2.0-series evaporators lead the industry in energy efficiency, achieving the lowest kilowatt-per-gallon evaporated ratio among 25HP-class units through redesigned airflow and fan case technology that enables higher evaporation rates with dramatically reduced power consumption — the APEX 2.0 operates on just 2.96 HP, a 78% reduction from the previous 25HP generation. The Landshark 2.0 is a trajectory evaporator featuring a patented center spray lance, stainless steel fan casing, composite impeller, and VFD controls for adjustable droplet size and trajectory length with pollution plume mitigation. The APEX 2.0 is a floating downdraft evaporator with foam-filled HDPE floats, marine-grade aluminum frame, and a patented spray chamber that enhances evaporation even when weather conditions do not support atomization. The PittBoss is a pumpless, nozzleless floating unit. All products are available for purchase or rental with a 12-month parts and labor warranty and meet EPA particulate matter standards and NPDES regulations. RWI has deployed equipment across 30 states and 17 countries in oil and gas, mining, landfill leachate, municipal wastewater, and industrial process water applications.
