RPS Engineering, Inc., founded in 1975 in Elgin, Illinois, is a woman-owned U.S. manufacturer of custom-engineered covers and enclosures for industrial and municipal applications. Acquired by McGuire Johns Holdings and Linda Peddle in December 2025, the company marked its 50th anniversary with a renewed commitment to American manufacturing — all products are fabricated in-house at the Elgin facility with no overseas sourcing, and typical turnaround is one to two weeks on custom orders. RPS produces three primary product lines: conveyor belt covers (CH-Series full 180-degree hinged covers and CHCS-Series three-quarter-coverage corrugated covers, available in galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and fiberglass with optional safety chains, wind guards, and skirts), wastewater treatment covers and components (aluminum flat hinged panels for clarifiers and tanks, fiberglass and aluminum geodesic domes, launder and channel covers for circular clarifiers, precision weirs and baffles for flow optimization, and scum containment systems), and curved metal roofing and siding panels for silos, storage tanks, and industrial buildings (available in painted galvanized, galvalume, aluminum, stainless steel, and mill finishes). All products include stamped engineering drawings, installation support, and a one-year manufacturer's warranty. RPS holds ISO 9001 certification and serves mining, aggregates, cement, power, bulk handling, and municipal and industrial wastewater treatment markets across North America.
