Romac Industries
About
Romac Industries is a US manufacturer of pipe connection and restraint products headquartered in Bothell, Washington, with additional manufacturing and distribution facilities near Charlotte, North Carolina and Fort Worth, Texas. The company produces a comprehensive line of fittings for water and wastewater infrastructure, serving planners, engineers, municipalities, and end users in diverse fluid systems worldwide. Romac's flagship ALPHA restrained joint product line features wide-range couplings, tees, 22-degree and 45-degree bends, 90-degree elbows, end caps, and flange coupling adapters rated for working pressures up to 350 psi across ductile iron, cast iron, PVC (IPS, C900, C909), and HDPE (SDR 9, 11, 13.5, 17) pipe types in sizes from 4 to 16 inches, all carrying NSF-61 certification. Beyond ALPHA, Romac manufactures full-circle repair clamps for fixing breaks, holes, and cracks in existing pipe; mechanical couplings for joining same or different diameter pipes; flanged couplings connecting grooved-end pipe to flanged connections; service saddles providing watertight branch connections off main lines; and tapping sleeves enabling branch connections on pressurized water mains without shutdown. The Transmate product line offers transition fittings between different pipe materials, while HDPE offerings include saddle tees and mechanical transitions. Romac also operates its own foundry and custom fabrication shop, and owns Hays Fluid Controls, extending their portfolio into fluid control solutions. Their three strategically located facilities enable shipment to most continental US destinations within two days.
