About
Rolba Svenska AB is a Swedish truck body manufacturer headquartered in Hedesunda near Gävle, with over 60 years of industry experience since its founding in 1962 by Swiss entrepreneur Rolph Bauman. Originally established to market ice rink machines, Rolba delivered its first sludge suction unit in 1968 and pivoted to vacuum and jetting equipment by 1993. Since December 2020, the company has been part of Disab Vacuum Technology. Rolba manufactures its product line using Swedish stainless steel at the Hedesunda facility, emphasizing reduced unladen weight, extended service life, and lower fuel consumption. The current range includes four combination units pairing wet suction with high-pressure flushing: the compact CityCombi for daily municipal use, the flexible MediumCombi for most sewer cleaning tasks, the heavy-duty SuperCombi for year-round demanding operations, and the newly launched ReComb recycler unit. Dedicated vacuum tankers (Slamsugare) handle sludge and cesspit emptying, while the Masko Zoll dewatering system separates water from sludge to reduce transport costs and increase processing capacity. The Rioned high-pressure jetting unit is the company's top seller, designed for pipe and drain cleaning. All products are custom-configured to customer specifications and mountable on most common truck chassis, trailers, and hook-lift systems.
