Hultec, formerly known as S&B Technical Products, specializes in rubber gaskets and sealing solutions for PVC piping systems used in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. The company's flagship product line is the HydroGrip Series of internal restraint gaskets for PVC and PVC-O pipe, which feature steel teeth embedded in SBR rubber to mechanically lock gaskets into pipe bell joints, converting standard gasketed joints into restraint joints without the need for external harnesses, clamps, or thrust blocks. The HydroGrip is offered in two configurations: HydroGrip-R for CIOD and IPS sizing systems, and HydroGrip-AG for agricultural-grade sizing, with diameter coverage from 4 to 24 inches across CIOD, IPS, AG, and metric systems. Gasket materials include standard SBR rubber with EPDM and NBR alternatives for chemical resistance. All products carry NSF-61 and NSF-14 certifications for potable water contact as well as FM1612 approval. Hultec's OEM customers include major PVC pipe manufacturers such as JM Eagle, Jet Stream (Pipelife), Saint-Gobain PAM, and Atkore.
