The BLI boundary layer injection system reduces pipeline friction and pressure loss by approximately 50% by injecting water or polymer into the pipeline. Major reference installations include WWTP Oftringen (Switzerland) with two 175 m³ concrete silos and KOS 1040 HP pumps, and WWTP Czajka (Poland) — one of Eastern Europe's largest plants — with three 530 m³ concrete storage silos, KOS 1080 pumps, and BLI injection handling 25% DS dewatered sludge.
