Pureflow Filtration & Ozone Divisions
About
Pureflow Filtration Division, a CEC Inc. company founded in 1973 and based in Whittier, California, is an original equipment manufacturer of custom-engineered water and wastewater treatment systems with over 50 years in the industry. The company designs and manufactures turnkey treatment systems for municipal and industrial clients across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Pureflow's technology portfolio encompasses seven treatment categories: coagulation and oxidation filtration, ion exchange, biological filtration via its PureflowBio system, adsorptive media filtration using Bayoxide E33 iron oxide and titanium oxide media, membrane filtration including ultrafiltration, ozone generation through its Ozone Division operating since 1984, and advanced oxidation processes combining UV with peroxide or ozone. The Pureflow Ozone Division designs, commissions, and services custom-engineered ozone water treatment systems, with its ULTAQUBE ozone generator employing patented technology for high-concentration ozone production at reduced life-cycle cost compared to conventional generators. Contaminant-specific treatment solutions target arsenic, iron, manganese, fluoride, radionuclides, chromium, and PFAS/PFOS. The PFD-Series Floating Decanter provides self-adjusting effluent withdrawal from sedimentation basins. Performance claims include 100 percent backwash reclaim capability and flux rates up to 12 gallons per minute per square foot. Services range from pilot studies and engineering design through P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and 3D renderings, to commissioning by factory personnel, field service troubleshooting, and filter remediation of existing systems.
