Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH, established in 1969 and headquartered in Wangen im Allgäu in southern Germany near the borders of Austria and Switzerland, is a manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps, twin-screw pumps, and pump modules for demanding fluid handling applications. Now part of the Atlas Copco Group, Wangen engineers its products for extreme robustness and reliable continuous operation under harsh conditions. The company's progressing cavity pump portfolio includes submersible (immersion) variants, hygienic-grade models for food and pharmaceutical compliance, hopper feed configurations for viscous and high-solids media, and suction-type designs.
