About
Perissinotto S.p.a., operating under the PEMO Pumps brand, is an Italian pump manufacturer founded in 1947 and headquartered in Vimodrone, near Milan. The company designs and produces centrifugal slurry pumps at a 12,000 square meter manufacturing facility, with over 43,000 pumps delivered worldwide to approximately 4,000 customers across mining, ceramics, stone processing, organic fraction of municipal solid waste (OFMSW) treatment, food processing, and filter press applications. PEMO maintains representatives and agents in 10 countries plus two international subsidiaries. The product range encompasses over 20 basic models configurable into more than 3,000 designs, covering two-stage, three-stage, and four-stage multi-stage centrifugal pumps for deep-suction applications, horizontal slurry pumps, vertical pumps, self-priming pumps, and submersible slurry pumps. Horizontal slurry pumps are offered in three series: AO/AD with single mechanical seals for low-abrasion service up to 2 bar, AO/TD/AD with double mechanical seals for heavy-duty slurry and acid service up to 4 bar and 1,500 cubic meters per hour, and AO/AB/AD with side inlet configurations for high-head service up to 90 meters discharge head. Submersible pumps feature IE3-class motors from 1.1 to 90 kW, semi-open impellers in rubber-lined or Hardalloy proprietary alloy construction, and capacities up to 700 cubic meters per hour at 7 bar. All pumps feature oversized shafts and bearings, two-part separable casings primarily in cast iron with optional rubber coating or custom alloys, and open-type impellers available in rubberized or metallic versions. The company holds ISO 14001 environmental certification and emphasizes in-house engineering, custom alloy development, and long-term spare parts availability.
