Paques Technology B.V., founded in 1981 in Balk, Netherlands and now part of Skion Water, is a global leader in biological wastewater and biogas treatment systems with over 3,400 installations across more than 60 countries. The company's BIOPAQ anaerobic reactor family addresses the full spectrum of industrial COD removal and biogas recovery: the IC internal circulation reactor for high-load streams, the ICX expanded version for greater capacity, the UASB and UASBplus upflow blanket reactors, the AFR anaerobic flotation reactor for wastewater with fats and oils, the UBOX compact system, and the RISE flexible variant. Nitrogen removal is handled by the ANAMMOX process, while aerobic polishing uses the CIRCOX reactor. Solids and tertiary treatment rely on ASTRASAND continuous sand filters, ASTRASEPARATOR high-performance separators, and BIOCYCLONE cyclone filtration.
