OR-TEC, Incorporated has designed and manufactured all-stainless-steel wastewater treatment equipment at its Cleveland, Ohio facility since 1980, serving municipal, food processing, and industrial markets across the US, Mexico, Canada, and Europe. The company's sludge dewatering line includes the Mark II single belt press for small to medium plants, the xpress 2 and 3 double and triple belt presses, the Gemini double belt press featuring a three-zone design with electric actuation and eight or more rollers, and the Rocker Screw Press with wedgewire or rocking multi-disc filter achieving up to 92 GPM capacity. The Convertible Belt Thickener doubles as both thickener and dewatering unit by swapping belts. On the screening side, OR-TEC distributes the Blue Whale Micro Bar Screen, the only mechanical bar screen achieving 1mm openings without washwater or brushes, with over 2,000 installations globally. OR-TEC's own Lo-Flo Screen handles flows up to 185 GPM, and the Screw Screen Compactor comes in five configurations: channel, vertical, tank, high solids, and rotary drum. The Rotary Brush Screen targets MBR and headworks applications. The True Grit Classifier removes particles above 200 microns using vortex settling, while the Package Headworks System integrates screening and grit removal in a single PLC-controlled unit. The AlphaDisc tertiary disc filter delivers 5 to 200 micron filtration with self-cleaning woven stainless steel media, and the Or-Tec Blend polymer system uses patented hydraulic mixing with no moving wet-phase parts.
