Unlike conventional pump-based lift stations, Oekermann's technology uses compressed air and steel pressure vessels as working chambers to move wastewater through sealed pipelines, eliminating rotating parts from the fluid stream and thereby preventing clogging, odor generation, corrosion, and sediment buildup. The product lineup scales through five tiers: the compact OKA series for single homes or small building groups connecting to public sewer networks, single-vessel double systems for intermediate flows, standard Doppelanlagen double systems with two working vessels and two compressors for small villages, triple and quadruple systems for mixed-water pump stations serving large communities and industrial operations, and hybrid pneumatic-pump combinations for sewer systems with high rainwater content. The CPU 10 Touch electronic controller manages filling and emptying cycles through a touchscreen interface, while variable blow-through automation keeps pressure mains aerobic and fully emptied. Oekermann is a member of DWA (German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste) and the it's OWL intelligent technical systems innovation cluster, and holds CrefoZert creditworthiness certification.
