NIDAPLAST

Nidaplast, based in Fresnes-sur-Escaut, France, has developed and manufactured technical construction products for over 40 years across two divisions: Environment and Composites. The Environment division produces a portfolio of stormwater management and permeable surface products. Nidagravel stabilizes gravel for paths and vehicle areas, Nidagrass provides reinforced vegetated parking surfaces, and Ocity enables permeable parking lot construction. Nidagreen and Nidasport serve as drainage bases for synthetic turf installations, while Nidaborder offers edging and border strips and Nidaplast EP provides permeable paving slabs. For underground stormwater storage and infiltration, Nidaplast offers the AZbox and Optibox modular systems that create subsurface SAUL basins for rainwater retention and infiltration. The Nidaroof system manages rainwater storage and regulation on rooftops and green roofs. The Nidaplast RA lightweight fill block, including the RA600 model used in the Toddbrook Dam rehabilitation project, provides reduced-load backfill on engineering structures and retaining walls. The Composites division manufactures structural honeycomb cores including Nidaplast 8 polypropylene honeycomb, Nidapan semi-finished PP panels, Nidaskin sandwich panels, Nidajet waterjet cutting pads, and fire-retardant and thermoplastic sandwich panel variants serving water sports, marine, transportation, wind energy, and construction markets. Nidaplast holds EcoVadis Bronze certification (2025) and provides feasibility studies, product selection, supply, and on-site installation guidance in France and internationally through a dealer network.
