NG Nordic AS is a Nordic circular solutions and environmental services group headquartered in Lysaker, Norway, with operations across Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark. Originally established in 1926, the company employs approximately 3,400 people across 90 sites and handles 4.8 million tonnes of waste annually. NG Nordic's water treatment capability centers on industrial and contaminated water treatment — specifically PFAS and sulfate removal, hazardous contaminant treatment, and material recovery — rather than traditional municipal wastewater treatment plant construction. The company provides full-service environmental construction including soil remediation, demolition, and water treatment, with project support from design through permitting. Through its subsidiary network, NG Nordic also offers industrial cleaning services (IBKA), ash recycling recovering metals and minerals from waste-to-energy residues, cable and metal recycling, hazardous waste treatment and disposal, and plastics circularity through its INGA bio-based and Circo recycled plastic brands. The Mana subsidiary develops projects transforming non-recyclable waste into clean energy carriers including biocarbon and sustainable aviation fuel. NG Nordic operates under multiple legacy brands including Norsk Gjenvinning and Fortum Recycling & Waste, serving municipal, industrial, and commercial sectors throughout the Nordic region.
