Next Turbo Technologies
About
Next Turbo Technologies (NTT), founded in 2014 and headquartered in Inarzo near Varese in northern Italy, manufactures integrally geared single-stage centrifugal turbocompressors from a 3,000+ sqm production facility where every compressor undergoes full-load testing on an automated test stand qualified to ISO 5389 and ASME PTC-10/PTC-13 standards. The product range is organized around two platforms. The GTB Series, rated 37 to 500 kW, employs hybrid ceramic bearings housed in a compact gearbox that eliminates the pre-lubrication oil pump, reducing energy consumption. The GTH Series extends capacity to 2,000 kW using hydrodynamic tilting pad bearings for high-flow installations requiring greater airflow. A defining engineering feature is the proprietary two-point control system combining Variable Diffuser Vanes (VDV) and Inlet Guide Vanes (IGV), which enables turndown from below 40% to 100% of rated capacity at constant motor speed without sacrificing discharge pressure or aerodynamic efficiency. Each compressor receives a custom-milled forged aluminum impeller with geometry calculated to match project-specific ambient temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. Both platforms are available as bare units on baseframes, in Compact Plug and Play enclosures integrating soft starters, blow-off valves, local control panels, and motor control centers, or in Modular Enclosures with discharge direction adjustable in 15-degree increments. NTT holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 37001, and SA8000 certifications and supplies remote monitoring, preventive maintenance, spare parts, and commissioning services including support for non-NTT compressor fleets.
