MWI Pumps
About
MWI Corporation, operating as MWI Pumps, is an American pump manufacturer founded in 1926 and headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The company holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications and is BABAA compliant, manufacturing its products domestically. MWI specializes in high-volume axial- and mixed-flow propeller pumps, hydraulic submersible pumps, and mobile pump stations for flood control, stormwater drainage, dewatering, agricultural irrigation, and municipal wastewater applications. The company's flagship Hydraflo line uses patented hydraulic drive technology that replaces fixed motors and rigid shafts with flexible hydraulic hoses, reducing civil works costs by up to 75 percent. Hydraflo models range from 8-inch to 24-inch configurations with diesel drive units from 35 to 225 HP. The Duraflo series provides hydraulic-driven submersible trash pumps from 4-inch to 12-inch sizes, handling solids up to 3.125 inches with capacities up to 7,200 GPM. MWI also produces lineshaft axial-flow pumps, Rotoflo self-priming positive displacement pumps, PrimeRite automatic dry-priming trash pumps, and mobile pump stations. The SolarPedalFlo unit provides potable water to rural communities without electricity, filtering to 1 micron and chlorinating while delivering over 3,170 gallons per day. MWI gained national recognition for deploying 20 Hydraflo pumps to dewater New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
