About
MUENCH-Edelstahl GmbH builds pelleting and size-reduction machinery in Hilden, North Rhine-Westphalia. Begun by Peter Muench in the 1970s and incorporated as a GmbH in 1981, the owner-managed family firm exports to more than 90 countries on five continents. RMP ring-die pellet mills (7-450 HP) and SDHM hammermills (5-500 HP) anchor the program, joined by SDCC counter-current coolers, drum and carousel dryers, KC crumblers, SCYS centrifugal screeners, SDET extruders, and DECM chop mills, while gun-drilled, mirror-finished, vacuum-hardened chrome steel dies and rollers are produced around the clock at the German works. Water-sector recognition comes from sewage sludge pelleting and drying: complete lines rated 0.05-4.5 t/h per machine convert dewatered municipal sludge and biogas digestate into fuel pellets for energetic recovery. An in-house test plant runs pelletability trials, and containerized turnkey systems allow decentralized deployment.
