McWane Plant and Industrial (MPI) is a U.S. manufacturer of valves, water control gates, ductile iron pipe, fittings, and actuators serving water, wastewater, irrigation, civil infrastructure, and industrial markets. Part of the McWane family of companies, MPI operates wholly owned American foundries and factories with products meeting both AIS (American Iron and Steel) and BABA (Build America, Buy America) domestic procurement requirements. The valve portfolio includes butterfly valves in seat-on-disc, seat-on-body, and high-performance configurations with AIS/BABA variants; gate valves spanning rotating double disc, resilient seated C515 and C509, and solid wedge designs; check valves including AWWA swing, KEN-FLEX, and double disc swing types; eccentric plug valves; mud valves; air valves (AC-150, CR-101, CR-101-HP, AVP, CRP-8); pressure relief valves (AA-6, AA-9C, AA-60D, AA-96, and hydrostatic types); riser and overflow valves; alfalfa valves; universal hydrants; and telescoping valves. The Waterman brand of water control gates encompasses cast slide gates (S-6000), fabricated stainless steel (SS-250) and aluminum (A-250) slide gates, rectangular butterfly gates, radial gates, stop logs and stop gates, flap gates (F-55D, PF-25, F-10, fabricated stainless, and AF series aluminum), tilting weir gates, canal gates (C-10, C-20, AC-31, SSC-10), gate lifts with handwheel and motorized actuators, H-30 cast iron line gates, and automatic siphons. The pipe and fittings line features Tyton Joint and TR Flex restrained joint ductile iron pipe, fabricated flange and wall pipe, Tyler Union fittings with Tufgrip, TufFlange, and Sure Stop 350 restraint systems, and multiple lining options including cement-mortar, Protecto 401, glass, and Ceramapure PL90 with coatings from asphaltic to V-Bio enhanced polyethylene encasement.
