MOTRIDAL S.p.A., headquartered in Piacenza, Italy, was founded in 1953 as a mechanical workshop and has grown into a global manufacturer of bulk material handling systems and metal spiral components. The company operates two divisions: Bulk Material Handling and Augers and Flighting. The Bulk Material Handling division designs and supplies individual conveyors, storage systems, and turnkey plants, including screw conveyors with fully enclosed dust-free construction, belt conveyors rated up to 3,000 t/h with steel cable or nylon-polyester carcass belts, chain conveyors ranging from low-capacity to heavy-duty high-capacity feeders, bucket elevators with central or peripheral discharge in belt or chain configurations, pipe conveyors with shaped central sections for enclosed transport, apron conveyors for hot and abrasive materials, and complete stacker and reclaimer systems. The Augers and Flighting division produces sectional flights in various materials and dimensions, continuous helicoid flighting in carbon and stainless steel with conical thickness profiles, shaftless spirals (centerless screws) in a range of thicknesses and diameters, special shaped flights for non-standard applications, and complete custom shafted screws. MOTRIDAL serves the water and wastewater treatment, drilling, agriculture, chemical, food processing, and energy sectors, with particular expertise in Archimedean screw pumps and turbines for hydropower applications.
