Moleaer Inc., founded in 2016 by Warren Russell and Bruce Scholten and headquartered in Hawthorne, California, develops and manufactures nanobubble generation systems that inject gases — including air, oxygen, CO2, and nitrogen — into liquids to produce sub-200-nanometer bubbles. These nanobubbles remain neutrally buoyant and suspended in water for weeks, enabling gas transfer efficiencies exceeding 85 percent, which the company states surpasses any other aeration technology. The product lineup includes the Neo for greenhouse and day tank applications, Lotus for tank-based systems, Titan for containerized irrigation reservoir and wastewater lagoon treatment, Kingfisher for lake restoration, Trinity for aquaculture and outdoor agriculture, Clear for residential pond and lake use, Indalo for European irrigation reservoir markets, and NOVO3. Moleaer also offers Nanobubbles-as-a-Service (NaaS), a rental and subscription model scaling from 500 to 5,000 GPM with remote monitoring capabilities. The company reports over 4,000 generators deployed across 55-plus countries, treating more than one million gallons per minute. University research partnerships span UCLA, Arizona State, Virginia Tech, Wageningen, and UC Irvine.
