Mokesa AG, founded in 1977 and headquartered in Birsfelden, Switzerland, is a specialist manufacturer of patent-protected refractory lining systems for boiler tube walls in waste incineration, biomass, and combined heat and power plants. With over 180 boilers serviced across Europe, the company has developed the Mokesys product family of freely combinable refractory lining panels designed to protect all zones of boiler passes. The lineup includes Mokesys Air, a ventilated system using nitride-bonded silicon carbide plates with circulating air for corrosion protection in the first boiler pass; Mokesys Air UHS, a patent-pending ventilated lining for superheater baffles in the second pass using low-pressure air between the tube wall and UHS plates; Mokesys Standard, a cast-behind system combining SiC plates with low-porosity SiC fluidized concrete for double protection and maximum heat extraction through direct tube contact; Mokesys Standard Plus, an enhanced cast-behind specification with additional layers for the highest heat extraction; and Mokesys Granulat, an innovative backfilled system combining air-circulated corrosion protection with SiC granulate fill for easy installation and damage-free removal.
