About
Mass Transfer Systems (MTS), founded in 1984 and headquartered at 23 Walpole Park South, Walpole, MA 02081, is a manufacturer of jet aeration and jet mixing systems for water and wastewater treatment, operating as part of the North American Filtration Family of Companies. MTS manufactures across three US facilities: the Walpole, MA headquarters handling design, applications engineering, and Aspirator aerator production; a Denmark, SC fiberglass plant producing all FRP jet aeration and mixing components including pipe, elbows, flanges, jet nozzles, and air ducts (since 1972); and a Ramsey, NJ stainless steel facility fabricating manifold supports and custom brackets (since 1984). Their jet aeration lineup includes Bi-Directional Jet Aerators for square and rectangular tanks and SBRs, Directional Jet Manifold Aerators for round tanks and oxidation ditches, Radial Jet Pod Aerators for smaller tanks, and Retrievable Jet Aeration Skids for tanks that cannot be dewatered. The MTS Aspirator is a submersible self-aspirating aerator drawing ambient air without blowers for sludge holding, aerobic digestion, and equalization basins. Additional products include jet mixing systems in directional, bi-directional, and pod configurations, liquid recirculation pumps, multi-stage centrifugal and positive displacement air blowers, and Floating Effluent Decanters with swing-joint design in stainless steel or fiberglass. MTS employs degreed environmental, chemical, and mechanical engineers.
