About

Macurco Gas Detection, a DwyerOmega brand based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has manufactured fixed and portable gas detection monitors in America since 1972 — over 50 years of experience. The company produces three distinct product lines: the Macurco line of fixed and portable monitors for residential and commercial applications, the TracXP line of industrial-grade fixed and wireless gas detection systems, and the AimSafety line of portable multi-gas monitors. For water and wastewater treatment facilities, Macurco provides continuous monitoring of hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), chlorine (Cl₂), sulfur dioxide (SO₂), ammonia (NH₃), carbon monoxide (CO), methane/combustible gases (LEL), and oxygen deficiency. Key areas of application include belt press and centrifuge rooms, digesters, sludge storage facilities, wet wells, chlorinator rooms, and cogeneration facilities. The TracXP industrial line features the TXP-T40 fixed transmitter with dual-sensor capability, the TXP-WTA wireless transmitter, the TXP-WCR wireless control panel, the TXP-C16X 16-channel control panel, and the TXP-SDA sample draw assembly — all available with Class 1 Div 1 or Div 2 certification, Modbus RS-485 output, 4-20 mA analog, and Ethernet with web server. The AimSafety portable line includes the PM100 single-gas monitor, PM400 four-gas monitor, and PM500 multi-gas monitor with pump — all rated IP67 for dust-tight and water-resistant operation.
