LUBRICO A. Tsakalis Ltd. is a Greek chemical manufacturing and trading company founded in 1991, strategically positioned in Greece as a gateway between Europe, Asia, and Africa for distributing EU-origin chemical products. Water treatment chemicals represent the company's core and largest division, encompassing a comprehensive range of coagulants, flocculants, specialty treatment chemicals, and engineered equipment for both industrial and municipal plants. The inorganic coagulant line includes polyaluminium chloride (PAC), polyaluminium chloride sulfate, aluminium chlorohydrate (ACH), aluminium sulphate, and ferric and ferrous chloride formulations, all certified to EN 878:2004 and EN 883:2004 for potable water applications. The organic coagulant range spans the Lubrofloc ECO series (dicyandiamide resin-based), Lubrofloc PD series (PolyDADMAC), and Lubrofloc PA series (polyamine), which can reduce coagulant consumption 20-40% while lowering sludge volumes. Flocculant offerings include cationic and anionic polymers in both dry and emulsion forms, cross-linked emulsion variants, and partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (PHPA). LUBRICO's newer nanotechnology product line employs metal oxide nanoparticles bound to organic charge carriers for municipal wastewater enhancement at dosages as low as 4 ppm and chemical costs of 0.01 EUR per cubic meter. The LB CF 300 odor control product is a concentrated nitrate solution with iron additives that prevents hydrogen sulfide formation and neutralizes existing odorants. The company also designs and builds circular DAF units in SS304 or SS316 construction with capacities from 1 to 500 m3/h, and chlorine dioxide generators with greater than 95% product yield. LUBRICO exports to over 20 countries, accounting for nearly 40% of total sales, and holds REACH compliance as well as membership in INCOPA (European Inorganic Coagulants Producers Association) and CEFIC (European Chemical Industry Council).
