Kusters Water, operating under Zima Corporation (part of the Jagenberg Group), is an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer of headworks, clarification, thickening, biological treatment, and odor control equipment for municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment. Based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the company acquired Hi-Tech Environmental in 2012 to expand its municipal and industrial offerings. The ProTechtor product line spans the full headworks scope: multi-rake bar screens (4-100mm bar spacing, channels 1-15 feet wide, depths to 40 feet), perforated plate filter screens (3, 6, 10mm perforations), centerflow band screens (2-10 foot panels, 90-degree vertical orientation), screenings washer compactors (200-350mm screw diameters, up to 450 cubic feet per hour throughput, over 95% fecal matter reduction, 60-70% volume and weight reduction), internally fed drum screens (0.6-3mm perforations), spiral screw screens, and static screens (0.01-0.100 inch wedge wire openings, 18-120 inch standard sizes).
