Kremsmüller's flagship product line is its thin-film evaporation technology, comprising four distinct systems. The LIQUIFILM falling film evaporator offers up to 5,000 m² surface area, heating to 200°C, and working pressures down to 10 mbar for concentrating starch solutions, solvents, black liquor, and milk. The LIQUIVAP vertical thin-film evaporator handles surfaces from 0.1 to 60 m² with heating to 500°C and pressures down to 1 mbar, processing polymers, waxes, isocyanates, tall oil, and fatty acids. The LIQUIDRY thin-film dryer (vertical and horizontal) covers 0.1 to 120 m² with heating to over 500°C for horizontal sludge drying, treating municipal and industrial sludges, salt solutions, glycerine, and pastes. The LIQUIMOL short-path evaporator operates at extreme vacuum (0.001 mbar) with heating to 450°C for molecular distillation of vitamins, biodiesel, and monoglycerides. Kremsmüller also manufactures industrial heat pumps producing process heat up to 200°C from waste heat, large-scale pressure vessels and tanks, tube bundle heat exchangers (including units up to 19 m with approximately 1,000 tubes each in 1.4404 stainless steel), and switchgear systems. The company operates an in-house Test Center in Steinhaus for pilot-scale evaporation trials from grams up to 200 kg, working with the Fraunhofer Institute.
