Founded over 125 years ago, KLINGER GmbH is the German subsidiary of the global KLINGER Group, headquartered in Idstein, Hesse. The company engineers and manufactures industrial sealing materials serving water supply, wastewater treatment, chemical processing, and mechanical engineering infrastructure across more than 60 countries. KLINGER's product range is organized into several material families. The KLINGERSIL® fiber-reinforced gasket sheet series spans over a dozen grades — notably C-4240, purpose-engineered for drinking water supply compliance, alongside C-4300 and C-4324 universal high-pressure grades, C-4409 for elevated thermal and mechanical stress, and C-4430plus premium high-pressure sheets. PTFE gasket materials are marketed under the KLINGER® top-chem range (2000, 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2000soft for low-bolt-load flanges) and soft-chem for chemically aggressive media. High-temperature sealing is covered by graphite laminates (SLS, PSM, PDM, TSM, XSM) and milam PSS mica laminates. The elastomere product line includes KGS, KGS GII, KGS/VD, and KGS/KNS gasket sheets, plus Wall Collar GII for pipe penetration sealing. Specialty items include the Mannlochdichtung manhole gasket, Ringcutter for on-site gasket fabrication, SEALEX expansion seals, and top-flon multi PTFE laminates.
