About
JWC Environmental (JWCE), operating as a Sulzer brand since its acquisition, has manufactured wastewater screening, grinding, and solids reduction equipment since 1973 from its Santa Ana, California headquarters. The company has shipped over 40,000 screens and shredders globally and organizes its products under three flagship brands: Muffin Monster for municipal wastewater grinding and screening, IPEC for industrial wastewater separation, and Monster Industrial for heavy-duty waste shredding. On the municipal side, JWCE offers channel grinders (Channel Monster, Channel Monster FLEX for flows up to 40 MGD), in-line and open-channel Muffin Monster grinders in 10K, 30K, and 40K configurations, fine screens (Auger Monster ALT, Bandscreen Monster, Drumscreen Monster, MevaScreen RS/DS/RSM, Finescreen Monster), coarse screens (Chain and Rake Monster, Mechanical Bar Screen Monster), and screenings treatment systems (Monster Wash Press, Screenings Washer Monster, Auger Presses). The Honey Monster handles septage and grease receiving. Industrial products include HYDRO dual-shaft grinders (1-HYDRO through 4-HYDRO), SHRED single-shaft shredders (1-SHRED through 7-SHRED-2), and the Zero Waste Monster depackaging system. Proprietary Wipes Ready cutter technology prevents non-dispersible wipes from reweaving, and MonsterTrack provides data monitoring.
