Johnston Pumps

Johnston Pump, a Sulzer brand with over a century of engineering heritage, manufactures vertical turbine and propeller pumps for high-capacity water movement in municipal, agricultural, and industrial infrastructure. The product line centers on four pump series: the JTS, an ultra-slim vertical turbine pump rated to 25,000 gpm that carries exclusive NSF-61/372 certification on all wetted parts through UL; the JT, a high-capacity vertical turbine pump reaching 210,000 gpm with 380 feet of head per stage; the JP, a vertical propeller pump designed for high-flow, low-head applications up to 240,000 gpm; and the JM, a vertical mixed-flow pump delivering up to 250,000 gpm in a cost-effective, easy-to-maintain configuration. All models feature corrosion-resistant stainless steel shafts, impellers in 410 and 316 grades, and inlet designs with anti-vortex vanes and flow stabilizers. Customization options include multiple stages, above- or below-ground discharge configurations, enclosed line shafts, custom coatings, and various mechanical seal types. The JTS comes standard with dual wear rings, while the JT offers them as an option. Full BABA compliance is available across the product line, and ISO 9001 certification covers all manufacturing. Applications span municipal water supply, agricultural irrigation, flood control and drainage, desalination, pipeline pumping, power generation, and effluent handling.
