IMS Group GmbH
About
IMS Group GmbH, headquartered at Am Bauhof 6 in Ottendorf-Okrilla near Dresden, Germany, is a consulting collective that unites multiple manufacturing companies in the trenchless sewer rehabilitation industry. Founded in 1992 as Ingenieurgesellschaft für Maschinenentwicklung und Sonderfertigung IMS mbH, the group encompasses IMS Robotics GmbH (milling robots and UV/LED curing), Hurricane Trenchless Technologie GmbH (thermal curing, inversion, and short lining), Kardiam Diamantwerkzeuge GmbH (diamond tools and nozzles), and ILZ GmbH (CNC and turned parts). The company operates 14+ subsidiaries worldwide across Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, the UK, USA, Australia, Serbia, Poland, Denmark, and China. IMS Robotics produces cutting robots across two lines: house connection robots for DN 70–250 including the MICROpremium flex modular system and MICRO S automatic with bendability up to 90° in DN 100 pipes, and main sewer robots from DN 150–800 including the DRIVEplus, DRIVE E (electric drive, 100 m entry depth), and DRIVE 5 (pneumatic drive, 100 m entry depth). The TURBO 4/4M CLEANER provides ultra-high pressure water jetting at up to 2,500 bar for deposit removal in main sewers DN 250–600. CIPP rehabilitation is covered by the UV 12000 Compact curing system for liners up to DN 1600, LED curing systems, and Hurricane TT's thermal/steam curing and inversion systems. The MAINreel modular reel system consolidates liner installation equipment. Kardiam supplies diamond cutting tools and specialized sewer cleaning nozzles. IMS offers worldwide rental of all mobile systems and fully equipped service vehicles.
Key Products
Robotic cutting systems for house connections (DN 70–250) and main sewers (DN 150–800) that remotely mill deposits, roots, and obstructions from inside pipes.
Ultra-high pressure water jetting carriage (up to 2,500 bar / 36,000 psi) for removing concrete, lime, roots, and blockages from sewers DN 250–600, serving as an economical alternative to cutting robots for deposit removal.
Light-based CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) liner curing systems for trenchless pipe rehabilitation in diameters DN 150–1600.
Steam and hot-water based CIPP liner curing systems for trenchless pipe rehabilitation.
Equipment for inverting and installing CIPP liners into damaged pipes without excavation.
Localized pipe repair systems for spot rehabilitation of damaged sewer sections without full-pipe relining.
Specialized high-pressure nozzles for sewer and pipe cleaning applications.
Diamond-tipped milling and cutting tools for robotic sewer rehabilitation work.
A modular reel system offering flexibility, space savings, and reduced training needs for liner installation and rehabilitation operations.
Replacement parts and consumable materials for CIPP rehabilitation and sewer cleaning operations.
Turnkey, custom-fit vehicles equipped with professional rehabilitation and cleaning equipment for mobile sewer operations.
Rental of all mobile rehabilitation and cleaning systems and fully equipped vehicles for project-based or short-term use.
