Hydromatic (Pentair)
About
Hydromatic is a Pentair brand and national leader in submersible wastewater pumps, founded in 1959 and manufacturing from a 250,000 square foot facility in Ashland, Ohio. Originally producing 100 pumps per day in a converted highway garage in Hayesville, Ohio, the company was acquired by Pentair in 1998 as part of the General Signal Pump Group acquisition. Hydromatic's commercial and municipal product lines cover solids handling pumps (S4N/S4NX, S3HRC/S3HVX, H4H/H4HX, HPE Series, C4SXP/C4HXP chopper pumps, and the next-generation HPS series including 4HC, 4HD, 6MC, 6MD, 4SD, 4SC, and 3SC models with anti-clog hydraulics), grinder pumps (HPG200, HPGH, HV200, HWG200, HVR200 series, and the TL-Pro and TG-Pro packaged grinder systems), self-priming pumps (MP, RP, MMP, and RDP series from 3-inch to 10-inch discharge), and sewage ejectors (S3SD/SB3SD, S3S/SB3S, S4SD/SB4SD, S4S/SB4S). The residential portfolio includes sump pumps (HBSP-4, 118, HS, HP, SD/SW/VS series), effluent pumps (SPD, SHEF, SPX, HE, OSP series), sewage pumps (SKV, SP, SKHS, SK series), and packaged systems. Control and monitoring accessories include SPC-PANEL control panels, float switches, and Q-Alert alarm systems. The next-generation HPS pumps feature redesigned hydraulics specifically engineered to handle modern non-dispersible flushables that cause clogging in conventional pumps.
