Founded in 1872 and headquartered in Berching, Bavaria, HUBER SE is a family-owned company with approximately 2,000 employees worldwide and over 65,000 installations across more than 60 countries. The company manufactures water and wastewater treatment equipment primarily in stainless steel at its state-of-the-art Berching production facility, led by CEO and shareholder Georg Huber. HUBER's product portfolio spans the full treatment chain from influent screening to sludge drying. The ROTAMAT screen series includes the Ro1 fine screen (throughput up to 3,000 l/s per unit) and the RoK4 pumping stations screen, while the RakeMax covers the full range of bar screen opening widths. For tertiary filtration, the RoDisc disc filter uses up to 35 vertical discs with 10 µm mesh achieving over 99.9% microplastics removal, and the RotaFilt pile cloth media filter operates continuously without cleaning interruptions. The Q-PRESS screw press family (models 280 through 800.2) delivers up to 540 kgDR/h throughput with up to 97% sludge volume reduction, over 97% solids capture, and under 6 kWh/t DR specific energy consumption. The SOLSTICE solar dryer has achieved 90% dry residue in summer conditions with over 250 dryer lines sold, including the Bahr el Baqar installation in Egypt (128 units, 500,000 t/year capacity). The RoWin heat exchanger recovers up to 80% useful heat from wastewater. HUBER also provides the MENA-WATER containerized treatment plants and a full stainless steel safe access product line.
