Tenco Hydro, founded in 1971 and based in Sugar Grove, Illinois, is an OEM solutions company that has been designing, fabricating, and supplying wastewater treatment equipment for over 50 years for both industrial and municipal markets. The company introduced its first dissolved air flotation (DAF) system for soybean oil recovery at founding, launching the Clari-Float brand in 1976 and the Skim Kleen belt oil skimmer in 1977. The Clari-Float DAF remains the flagship product, featuring a proprietary inlet chamber design and recycle pressurization technology for industrial clarification, by-product recovery, and municipal sludge thickening. Tenco Hydro's industrial product line includes Clari-Float DAF systems (available with digital air control upgrades and rental options), Clari-Pac C coalescing oil-water separators, Clari-Pac G DAF packages, API gravity oil-water separators, Oil Break standalone oil separation units, lamella clarifiers, circular clarifiers, custom piping assemblies and manifolds, Thermix heated batch process tanks, and reverse osmosis rental systems. The municipal product line features the Clari-Scum scum concentrator with Thermix integration for heated grease processing, Skim Kleen belt skimmers, circular clarifiers, and tube skimmers. Tenco Hydro also maintains an instrumentation and controls division covering pressure, temperature, level, and flow monitoring. The company provides online configurators for DAF sizing, coalescing OWS, tube skimmers, belt skimmer sizing, and scum concentrators, allowing customers to specify equipment directly. Services range from conceptual design and CNC fabrication to equipment rental, spare parts, rebuild kits, and onsite startup with training.
