BDP Industries has manufactured thickening, dewatering, and composting equipment at its Greenwich, New York facility since 1978, when the company built its first belt press on that site. Over four decades later, all machines are still produced there. The 3DP Belt Press remains the core dewatering platform, engineered for slurries, sludges, and residuals with integrated odor control, noise reduction, and automated operation. For enclosed dewatering, the DSP Screw Press offers a stainless-steel, tapered-screw design with pivoting basket and oscillating shower system, available as a 5–10 GPM package system for smaller plants. On the thickening side, the Gravity Belt Thickener provides a large filtration area for high loading rates with low polymer demand, while the Rotary Drum Thickener delivers comparable throughput in a compact, naturally enclosed footprint. Beyond liquid-solid separation, BDP operates one of the most established in-vessel composting platforms in North America: its agitated bay ICS system has been deployed at 33 sites with 138 machines built, the oldest still running after 34 years, producing stable compost from MSW, food scraps, and biosolids with odor containment that permits facilities within 400 feet of residential areas. The Biodrying System applies agitation and forced aeration inside an enclosed structure to reduce biosolids volume with little or no added amendment, consuming significantly less energy than thermal dryers. BDP also supplies belt press room odor control systems and serves municipal wastewater, pulp and paper, mineral processing, and landfill capacity management markets domestically and internationally.
