HOMA Pumpenfabrik GmbH
About
HOMA Pumpenfabrik GmbH, founded in 1946 by Hans Hoffmann Sr. and now led by the third generation under Hans Hoffmann and Michael Sulzbach, designs and manufactures submersible pumps and pump systems from its headquarters in Neunkirchen-Seelscheid near Cologne, Germany. The company holds ISO 9001:2015 and ATEX certifications and operates a photovoltaic system that has produced over 1 million kWh. HOMA's product range spans two main divisions: industrial and wastewater technology, and building drainage. In wastewater, the Alligator series chopper pumps (OC and MXS models) feature cutting mechanisms tested by TU Berlin for high efficiency in solids reduction, while the Bully C(H)150 WA submersible pump handles dirty and chemically loaded water. The EffTec series incorporates optimized hydraulics that reduced maintenance by 95% at the largest SBR plant in Rhineland-Palatinate. Additional wastewater products include cutter pumps, stainless steel wastewater pumps, propeller pumps, agitators, basin cleaning systems, flushing valves, maintenance slide rails, and prefabricated pump shafts. The building drainage line covers cellar drainage pumps, multi-stage deep-well pumps, self-priming pumps, domestic water automats, fecal lifting stations, and the Flut-Set rapid-deployment flood response package. HOMA supports its hardware with HOP.Sel 6.0 pump selection software, HOMA Cloud for remote monitoring, a BIM-Portal providing 3D-CAD data, and an extensive Pumpen-Wiki knowledge base. The EKKI HOMA joint venture extends the company's reach into the Indian market.
