Founded in 1967 in Freilassing, Bavaria, Hawle Deutschland Armaturen GmbH has grown from a valve manufacturer into a comprehensive system provider for water, gas, and wastewater infrastructure. The company employs nearly 400 people at its Freilassing headquarters and operates the Fürstenwalder Guss foundry, Hawle Kunststoff (plastics division), and Hawle Service GmbH. With over 5,000 catalog items plus custom special solutions, Hawle's product range covers gate valves (including the E3 cold district heating valve and Hybrid-Schieberkappe crimp-in cap), butterfly valves under the PRO-Klappe® brand, and the proprietary BAIO® push-in connection system. Their hydrant line includes above-ground and below-ground models with a Sensorschleife gateway for integrating monitoring technology into existing pipelines. The HaVent® air release assembly features rolling membrane technology operating across 0–16 bar. The ZAK® system serves tapping valves and house service connections. Hawle also manufactures water meter chambers, road surface covers (Straßenkappen), repair clamps, backflow preventers, wall penetrations (Mauerdurchführungen), control valves, and the HaPUR® knife gate valve with polyurethane coating for sewage applications.
