Grenex Ltd.
About
Grenex Ltd. (그레넥스) is a South Korean water treatment equipment manufacturer established in 2000, with headquarters in Seoul's Gangnam district and a production facility in Jeollabuk-do. The company specializes in pile cloth disk filtration technology for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, with over 120 installations worldwide since 2009, including the world's largest GDisk installation in Gwangju, Korea. Grenex's flagship GDisk® pile cloth disk filter performs both depth filtration and filter cake filtration in a gravity-driven, low-head system, achieving 1–5 mg/L TSS effluent quality with only 1–3% backwash water loss and continuous 24/7 operation with automatic backwash. Available in disk diameters of 900 mm, 1,200 mm, 2,200 mm, and 3,000 mm with up to 24 disks per unit, the GDisk® serves tertiary treatment, CSO filtration, water reuse, and drinking water pre-filtration. The ChemDisk® system pairs chemical coagulation and flocculation with GDisk® filtration for over 90% total phosphorus removal. Grenex also offers the Small Capacity GDisk® (50–1,000+ m³/day in steel tanks), surface mechanical aerators for activated sludge processes (first produced in 1969), and direct-drive surface mixers. The company provides pilot testing, O&M training, and inspection services.
Key Products
Micro-screen cloth filter using pile cloth media for depth and filter cake filtration, achieving 1–5 mg/L TSS effluent quality with 1–3% backwash water loss, operating continuously 24/7 with automatic backwash.
Combined chemical treatment (coagulation/flocculation) and GDisk® filtration system achieving over 90% total phosphorus removal, with optimized mixing for giant floc formation and depth filtration with sedimentation sludge discharge.
Compact pile cloth disk filter for 50–1,000+ m³/day applications in steel tank construction, fully PLC automated with remote monitoring, suitable for small sewage treatment, greywater reuse, and pre-filtration before membranes.
Mechanical surface aerator with single shaft from motor to propeller for activated sludge systems including SBR, oxidation ditches, extended aeration, aerobic digestion, equalization, and aerated lagoons — first produced in 1969.
Direct-drive surface mixing system for blending and mixing in wastewater treatment process tanks.
