Groupe GOTREX, headquartered in Cessieu near Lyon, France, is an industrial valve and piping group comprising three entities: GOTREX (distribution, established 2011), GOVAL France (manufacturing, launched 2015), and CHEROFRANCE (oil and gas distribution, acquired 2018). The group began as an export distributor to the Maghreb before expanding across Francophone Africa and Western Europe, and today approximately 95 percent of turnover comes from exports outside Europe. GOVAL France manufactures a comprehensive valve catalogue in cast iron, steel, brass, and stainless steel, including ball valves (split body, floating, monobloc, trunnion, top entry, wafer, and double block and bleed configurations), rubber-seated and direct-passage gate valves, knife gate valves with nitrile, EPDM, PTFE, and metal seals, double eccentric and wafer butterfly valves, globe valves with multiple trim options, swing and butterfly-pattern check valves, and pig ball valves for pipeline pigging operations. The group also supplies air relief valves, strainers, complete piping and fittings ranges, industrial pumps, and fire fighting valves and hydrants. Products comply with CE, ATEX, API, FIRE SAFE, ACS, and NF standards. GOVAL holds ISO 9001:2015 certification for design, assembly, and trading, with ISO 14001 in progress. Services include material composition testing, tightness and pressure certification, and custom fabrication to client specifications.
